Paolo Compagno

After obtaining his degree in 2001 in Institutions and Financial Market Management from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy, he started working in the financial markets, in proprietary derivatives trading. From 2001 he worked first as a junior trader then as senior trader for a total of 5 years, a position he held in several private companies in Italy specializing in Equity Index derivatives and options.

In December 2005 he used his experience gained in the financial markets and trading to begin his career in Portfolio management working as co-manager for a successful derivative hedge fund, where he performed an annualized net return for investors of about 40%.

In June 2008 he founded The 1.2 Fund Ltd. He has been one of the directors of the Fund where he was responsible for Trading strategy and Position management.

In 2013 he incorporated Option Solutions LLP, an FCA authorized company to act as Investment Manager for Hedge Funds.

In 2015 he launched a compart of a UCITS Sicav, managed by GAM in Luxemburg. He was one of the director until 2018.

In 2020 he launched H-edge Comp, a company that has the object to find and developed the talent in the financial industry.

In 2024 he launched an AMC on Gold mining and High Dividend Value Stocks.

He is authorized to manage portfolio for professioanl investors.

Alessandro Santo

Alessandro is a partner at Option Solutions LLP.

He is the founder of Last Mile Ventures, an investment holding & consultancy active on digital and early stage companies. Since 2012 Last Mile Venture has completed 10+ early stage investments and 20+ strategic engagements with a wide array of clients.

Prior to founding Last Mile Ventures, Alessandro spent four years as a venture investor in Italy and two years with Bain & Company advising large companies and Private Equity funds around strategic planning and commercial excellence. Alessandro started his career in investment banking working for five years as equity sales.

Alessandro is a graduate of Bocconi University in Milan, earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in NYC and is a Kauffman Fellow.
